About the Event
The Weanling Extravaganza Open House and Dinner is a celebration of learning, leadership, and the art of horsemanship.
Hosted by UF’s Weanling Behavior Modification class, this event offers a unique look into how students develop training foundations for young horses.
Guests will enjoy a full afternoon of equine education, community connection, and student-led demonstrations — followed by a relaxing evening dinner.

12:00 PM – Ranch Horse Clinic
Watch skilled instructors and students demonstrate horsemanship, groundwork, and weanling training techniques.
3:00 PM – Horse Show (Free & Open to Public)
Experience an exciting student-led horse show highlighting the progress of UF’s weanlings and riders.
4:30 PM – Student Meet & Greet
Connect with the students, learn about their journeys, and hear their stories of hands-on experience and teamwork.
5:30 PM – Dinner & Program Presentation
Join UF faculty and students for a catered dinner while learning about the Equine Science Program, its research, and community impact.
