This six-hour day camp provides both classroom and outdoor learning opportunities, giving children the chance to interact with horses in a structured, supervised setting.
What Participants Will Learn
- Understanding horse behavior and body language
- Basics of horse care, grooming, and feeding

- Hands-on activities with horses (no riding involved)

Registration & Requirements
All participants must:
- Enroll in 4-H Online (free enrollment).
- Agree to the Transportation Waiver in 4-H Online.
- Review and accept the North Carolina 4-H Youth Development Program Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Photo & Media Release agreements.

Important Policies
- Please do not drop off your child more than 10 minutes early.
- Pick-up must be within 30 minutes of program end; late pickups will incur a $25 aftercare fee.
- The camp may be canceled if registration numbers are low — so register early to secure your spot!
- No refunds are available for this event.
