Updated Selection Procedures for the 2026 FEI Vaulting World Championships
The US Equestrian has released revisions to the Championships selection process, aimed at improving fairness and transparency.
Key updates apply to Individual, Pas de Deux, and Squad divisions (Section 2.1.1.4 of the official document).
Selectors will now consider:
- Performance at Training Camps (if applicable)
- Scores from Observation Events
These new factors ensure that athletes are evaluated on both consistent performance and recent form.
Qualification Criteria and Application Details
Athletes aiming to represent the United States at the Championships must apply by January 15, 2026.
Selection Period: January 1, 2025 โ March 30, 2026
Observation Period Ends: June 1, 2026
Minimum Qualification Scores:
- Individuals & Pas de Deux: 3 qualifying scores during the selection period
- Squads: 2 qualifying scores during the selection period
๐ Note: After January 1, 2026, all qualifying scores must be from competitions judged by three or more officials.
